Edward Dragon and Director / Curator Mike Solomon, created the Ossorio Foundation to insure that Alfonso Ossorio's life-work will be interpreted, organized and maintained in a manner commensurate with its achievement. The Foundation is endowed with works gifted by Mr. Dragon. The Foundation's collection contains numerous art objects made by Ossorio. This includes assemblages, sculptures, paintings, works on paper, prints, photographs, notebooks, drawings, studies and ephemera.

The Foundation maintains an archive of Ossorio's historic records and photographs regarding his life and work. This includes Ossorio's own extensive photographic documentation of his Estate in East Hampton, The Creeks, as well as original photographs of Ossorio by Hans Namuth and George Platt Lynes.
